Aunt Becky’s Bierochs (this a German dish)

If you ask me what is one of my favorite foods, I would say Bierochs! It is a roll stuffed with cabbage, hamburger, and cheese. These are so yummy and if you have too many they freeze great!

Bierochs:
1 small head cabbage
¼ of a tsp. of garlic
1 lb hamburger
A little pepper
Onion, or onion powder to taste
Shredded cheese
Bread dough
Or use Rhoades frozen bread if you don’t have time
Beau monde seasoning.
Cook cabbage, garlic, and onion until soft and transparent. Brown hamburger. Then mix cabbage and meat and cheese in a bowl. Add beau monde seasoning to taste. Pinch dough into pieces about the size of very small roll. Flatten dough with your hand. Place about 1-1 ½ T. of filling onto dough. Place more grated cheese on top. Fold dough up around hamburger, cabbage mixture, forming a stuffed roll. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake for 20 min. at 350 until light brown (like a roll).
Makes 1 ½ - 2 dozen depending on size of rolls
